Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon arrival at the airport, clear all the immigration formalities and outside the airport, our team members will be waiting outside with the Placard. You will then be transferred to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit some of the UNESCO heritage sites along with some last minutes of trekking shopping.

First, visit the Pashupatinath. The magnificent Pashupatinath temple with its astonishing architectural beauty is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath is also Nepal’s most renowned Hindu cremation site.

Then we will visit Swayambunath. Swayambunath a UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site is an ancient stupa is the most sacred Buddhist shrine of Nepal and is also known as a Self-Created stupa. The stupa lies in the heart of the valley above a hill.

Later visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu, the largest city of Nepal is the political as well as the cultural capital of the country. Kathmandu is blessed by a living goddess. The Kumari Devi is the most important of several living goddesses in Nepal. Walk across the Ason Bazaar exploring the spices and vegetable market all the way to Thamel a buzzing, visitor-friendly area. 

Also, Thamel is the ultimate place for trekkers to buy all the trekking stuff, ranging from local to an international brand, once can buy or rent trekking items as needed.

Later drive back to the hotel.

After early morning breakfast, we begin our drive to SyabruBesi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli River you catch glimpse of Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche you feel as if you are heading towards deep land.

Upon arrival, check in to the local lodge.

NOTE: From today, the accommodation will be on a simple lodge with basic and limited facilities.

The first part of the trail crosses through Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola which gradually ascent up to Bamboo. Afterward, your trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola you will reach is a trail junction that connects to high route back to Syorpa Gaun and SyabruBesi; this was an old trail to Langtang before the bridge Khola. After that, we finish most of the day’s climbing and descend gently down to Lama Hotel.

As you continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung from between the trees. At GhoraTabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. There used to be a  Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months. There is a monastery, which you can visit shortly before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and its neighboring villages are of the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips d barley.

The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, you will reach Kyaning village. The village has a small monastery and a cheese factory operated by Government. 

After lunch explore the area and acclimatize. It is a dramatic setting, with snow-covered peaks surrounding you in all directions such as Langtang Lirung, Ganjala peak, Tserkori, Langsisari and many others.

Today head back to Lama Hotel following Langtang Khola.

Today, trek from Lama Hotel to ThuloSyabru. The upper part of the trail offers a panoramic view of mountains and green hills. The region is dominated by Tamang communities who have adopted the Tibetan lifestyle.

Continue your trek to Singh Gompa experiencing the Tibetan lifestyle and culture along with the panoramic views of the Himalayas. The trek is about 5 hours’ walk.

After breakfast, we trek to Gosaikinda, considered one of the holiest lakes for both the Hindu and Buddhist religions. You can see both cultures blend in with Hindu Temple and Tibetan Monasteries along with a beautiful landscape.

Explore the area, where you can see the devotee taking a dip in the icy cold water. Later after breakfast, we will descend to Chandabari which takes about 6 – 7 hrs.

On the last day of the trek, almost all the path is downward and you can see the vegetation slowly changing with dense forest of pine, oak, and rhododendron forests which leads to our destination Dunche.

After breakfast, we begin our drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the remaining evening at leisure.

The reporting time at the airport is 3 hrs. prior to the departure.
